How to Pin your post on your Facebook Page.

Hi there,

Once you have your blog, and you want to promote it on Facebook, a good idea is to get your Facebook Fan Page.

From your Facebook Fan Page you can post about your Blog’s post, and get people interested in visiting your blog, the more people you get to visit your Facebook Fan Page, they will LIKE and share it.

This is a good way to get to more people and let them know your blog is here now on the blogosphere, this is a good tool to promote your blog, you can use your Facebook Page to promote campaign or post on your site.

To keep people interested on certain post on your Facebook Page, you can pin it, it will keep this post on the top of your Page for one week, you can keep posting, but your pined post will stay on the top of your Page and every visitor to your page will look at it the first thing.

How to Pin your post on your Facebook Page.

1. Make a post as you normally do it. Click on the top right corner, as you do to edit your post.

2. You will read on the top of the opened window, ” Pin to top”, click it,

3. A yellow flag will appear. your post is pinned and will stay on the top of your Facebook page for one week.

Pinning your post, you will give to fans more opportunities to respond, and you tell your fans your page acts like community and as a resource.

You can use a pinned post to built up your fans base or your e-mail list, you could offer some value in exchange for the like.

You can also use a pinned post to welcome your fans. A good image will stand better on Facebook, consider a good size is 400 x 400 pixels.

    Thank you for this information … I’ve had posts that I wanted to stay at the top of my Facebook page, but didn’t know how to do it. I’m going to try this right now.
